LI Sound Girls

Went today for our first meeting with LI Sound DJ and wanted to know if our package sounded about right or if you anybody found better....

1 DJ & 1 MC for 5 hrs
White Sound System
2 Towers with 7 Kinetic Lights
2 Plasma Screens with Zap Photos & Photo Montage
$3500


Everything looks so sick but that price is way over our budget...is it worth it? What you you quoted?

I'd say that's about right...I'm paying a little more than that but I'm getting 24 kinetic and 4 towers...

thats about right but mine was less because I dont have the plasmas and zap shots

we are paying around that but no plasma or zap photos.

we have:
2 man team
uplighting (24 lights I believe)
white system
2 towers
steel drummer for CH

We were quoted I think $2800 for that minus the plasmas and zap shots. We really loved LI Sound but went with FM Entertainment because we were able to get a DJ/MC, the White sound system, 4 lighted towers and color splash upligthing behind the sweetheart table for under $2K. The only difference is we don't have a lighting tech running the lights, but for a $900 difference I'm ok with that.

So what happens with the lights that there's no tech..?

They have pre-planned computer programs to move them with the music.

Also, FM told me they'd still be able to spotlight our first dance, etc etc. They can still control them, they just don't have a dedicated person at the lighting computer all ngiht

nope but im freckin obssessed. They didnt have the whole system when we booked if they did I so would have booked it we just have the white light towers.

Scott told us that even if we book anything with them (i.e the black sound system) we can always change our mind and upgrade to the white one even if its not what we originally booked. I'd call and ask them if you could have it now that its available

When I met with FM back in..April or May they had only the DJ booth and the vertical towers in white, but the lights and speakers were black. I told them about what we looked at at LI Sound and they said they were looking into it. I got a call a week alter saying they were ordering it and would have it by the wedding, so definitely ask them about it!

When I met with FM back in..April or May they had only the DJ booth and the vertical towers in white, but the lights and speakers were black. I spoke with Frank last night actually, and we were discussing the white speakers, etc. He said he had someone coming to look at it. I said 'I know! I sent her!'

I had a great conversation with Frank. I had emailed him with some questions and he immediately called me and talked through everything and more for 40 minutes. I feel really confident about it,

As I mentioned I liked LI Sound, but they are still saying they're the only ones offering an all white sound system and intelligent lighting and it's just not true!

i had a similar package with them except i had uplighting and a percussionist, plus they did my music for my ceremony. i didnt have a montage or the light towers. ours was teh same price and WORTH EVERY PENNY! they are amazing!! i highly recommend Chris as your MC

No pics...but i've seen it and its awesome!!! The nicest white system I've seen.

My package is similar to yours....no kinetic lights, but i have some live entertainment and my quote was a little higher than yours. so yours sounds about right.

some of the other systems are fully white though... you have to look closely at them. i was at a wedding with a white sound system but the framing was black and it stood out in the dim lighting
