LI Sound (re: Kevin leaving)
soooo there was a post about how one of their MC/DJs Kevin is no longer at the company....
i was surprised and didn't know what to do so I called and spoke to Chris, the owner, and asked him about it. Chris(my 1st choice) is booked on my wedding day, and Mike is another MC who is excellent, but hes been the MC at many events my family/friends have been to, so i was clueless as to what to do...
I feel SO MUCH BETTER after talking to Chris because he said that they have an MC named Scott that he is recommending to the brides that had Kevin....
this guy Scott has over 20 years of MC experience, and Chris told me i have 'absolutely nothing to worry about' by using Scott...
also, they are doing one of their in-studio showcases tonight, at which Scott will be doing a performance, as well as at a showcase on August 26th at the Holiday Inn in Ronkonkoma...
he told me to come and see him in action, that he's excellent, definitely one of his top MCs, and that I can stop into the office anytime I want to meet Scott and talk to him etc.
so basically, to anyone who was worried about losing Kevin,there are definitely great options including Scott who I am looking forward to seeing at the next showcase I go to!! And Chris definitely made me feel alot better about the situation.
He apologized for not calling either, he said they aren't close to calling 2010 brides yet, they are still contacting 2009 brides.
