Li Sound Vs FM Entertainment Vs After Hours DJ

Any recommendations? Budget is 1300. Can anyone post quotes of the packages they offer? I need at least a DJ and separate MC. I am looking for someone to really be involved in the crowd and be really energetic! TIA!

LI Sound= $1500 for just the two man team alone, anything you add is additional, 4 hours

FM= $1200 for two man team, CH, and basic lights, 4 hours

After Hours= $1300 for two man team, 5 hours, and basic light show

PS. I recommend Tommy's Tunes! We are paying under $1100 for a DJ and DJ assistant, 5 hours, CH, and basic light show. I think their two man team is a few hundred more, but they work within your budget! They are so accommodating!

I highly rec. LI Sound. They were professional through the entire process and the day of my dance floor was packed. They followed exactly what I wanted as far as music and they staff was amazing to work with.

We also looked at After Hrs and tommy Tunes. After Hrs, Phil wasnt available for our date and I didnt like any of the other MC's and Tommy Tunes would not return our multiple calls

I cannot reccomend LI Sound enough...I booked with them on the spot when I first met them. Very professional and the MC's definately have a good enegry and get the crowd moving

I saw a DVD of MC's and they seemed great at getting the crowd going without getting too obnoxious. Some of these places will send you a DVD showcase if you ask so you can check them out without meeting them.

Yeah I am leaning toward After Hours because of their youtube videos. They are really energetic and even dance with the guests which I thought was pretty cool. They are a little pricey for me but maybe they will work with me.

FM seems to be pretty comparable in terms of quality but I don't know if they are as actively involved with the crowd as After Hours. FMs price is much lower too. Decisions decisions...

I booked with LI Sound! they are awesome! did my brothers wedding last year! The dance floor was packed the entire night! i dont think anyone sat down!

i have LI Sound but you may have to negotiate them to fit your budget.

as for energy with the crowd, most dj companies willl give you what you want. if you want them to fade in the background they will...if you want them to pull grandma out of her seat then they will do that. most dj companies will do any level you want

FM will play to the crowd as much as you want them to. If you want crowd participation they'll do it, if you want them on the mic a lot, they'll do it, if you want the completely opposite, they'll do it.

That's why I booked them.

ITA... they discuss what you're looking for, from type of music, atmosphere and crowd participation. I highly recommend Frank from FM Entertainment.
