What is the highest number of posts by a LI Wedding member?
I think it could be Jennbaby and we may have to give her a new titile. Looks like she is blowing away all the 'addicted' girls!

Re: LI WEDDINGS QUESTION
Jen, I agree - maybe we should call jennbaby and anyone else with over 3K posts a 'Wedding Diva'
Also, I think we need to change the title for the brand new members to something like 'Bridal Virgin'...the Newlywed Newbie isn't working for me...especially since those ladies aren't married yet!

Re: LI WEDDINGS QUESTION
And the winner is - Jennbaby!
Like you didn't already know that!
Yes her new title is - 'Poster Bride of the Year!' LOL
But I think it is her FI who should receive a prize. 'Most Patient Groom-To-Be' Especially that she doesn't post from work.

Re: LI WEDDINGS QUESTION
I look forward to getting to know everyone.
JenHos - you are a Milleridge bride right? I think I have seen you on some of those postings. We are getting married there on Sept. 27, 2003.

Re: LI WEDDINGS QUESTION
Yes Milleridge. This Saturday. There are lots of posts on it. So far I am beyond impressed and will be sure to give you all the details after. Let me know if you have any questions. Matt posted pics of the main room, atrium and staircase on our website if you haven't seen it (or if you want to show someone how pretty it is)

Re: LI WEDDINGS QUESTION
I tried to access your website but was unable to. I look forward to hearing all about your big day. So far we are very impressed with Milleridge. We are working with Leslie and she is great. I am getting ready to sign the contract and return. Do you have any advice on anything we should add? Which DJ and photographer are you using?

Re: LI WEDDINGS QUESTION
Originally we were going with the 2 star menu. My dad really wanted the raw bar but they weren't working with us on the cost to add that.
We were supposed to guarantee 175 on a Saturday with a $500 room fee (which is low)
We only are having 165 now. They let us lower our minimum if we did the 3 star so it worked out to be worth it.
If you are doing the 2 star ask if they can upgrade you to a dozen roses or depending on how many people you are having see if they can work with the rrom fee.
We found they were accomodating. Even when we discussed the possibility of cancellation they were willing to let us pick a new day without losing a dime!
I am using VIP and my DJ is James McGuire.

Re: LI WEDDINGS QUESTION
We are having the 3 star so most of the stuff you mentioned is included. We tried to negotiate the room fee but since it is peek season they wouldn't budge on it. We expect around 250 people and that is the minimum for that Saturday night. If we don't reach that amount then there is a $1000 fee. They did add a third entree which was great. Thanks so much for your help and I can't wait to hear how it all went.
