I posted a messege about the Huntington Townhouse and it was viewed by close to 200 people, why is the original post by me not on the screen? People have a right to view such opinions about a certain place and not just 'view' the responses.

This happens to my posts all the time...I think they just have to make room on the board for other posts? (I'm guessing here, but that makes sense I think) The good thing is though that when someone opens one of the responses, they can still just click on the original post if they are interested in reading it. Just wanted you to know you're not alone...
hey guys, I am not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone - just an observation here - if I had booked at the huntington townhouse and then read that post, I would be darn near suicidal, really. I have no idea why they delete things or if this has anything to do with it or not, and I am certainly not for censoring the boards. If I was about to book the HT and read that post I would be very thankful, but maybe we have to keep in mind the people who have already booked things and can't change their mind when we write scathing reviews like that? I know this post will upset somebody, I just wanted to add my two cents....good luck to everyone!
I just checked, its still there, its just too old to be displayed on the front page any more as Marnles implied. It will still come up if anyone ever does a search on Huntingtion Town House, and if they click on the responses! :)
Your post is still there. You probably have your preferences set to view a specific period of time or only new postings.
My post is set up for messeges received within the week...it is no longer visable on my screen.
