I'm going to look at the wineries......does anyone have any favorites?

Raphael or Wolffer are both beautiful!!! (but both are very $$- make sure you ask about the site fees they charge)

Macari does them. They are not a catering hall like the other wineries. www.macariwines.com

We've gone to 2 at the Vineyard Caterers in Aquebogue (one rainy, one sunny) and both were really nice. My only gripe, at the first one I ordered the mahimahi and got sickysicky. Fish trouble aside, they were both really nice and the staff/service was excellent!

Most wineries are not catering halls; in fact, not very many of them have separate ballrooms and their own chefs. We had to get our own caterer, rentals, etc.

My MOH had a smaller wedding (65 people). She had her wedding at Laurel Lake Vineyard. She had to hire her own caterer. It was wonderful for her scale. She had the whole place.
