What's the difference? Who can post? What are the stipulations? Is it only marrieds? Only those with families? And if B2Bs post, how is it any different from LIW?

That's what I thought, but then, really what's the point? Why not just tweak LIW to make it more general and comprehensive?

Good question!

Honestly, I am not a fan of going back and forth and I have some friends on LIW's that are still planning and probably not going over to the other site for now..

Honestly, I am not a fan of going back and forth and I have some friends on LIW's that are still planning and probably not going over to the other site for now..


The girls I'm friendliest with are all married a year or more, so they're over there, but I'm still planning, so I'm stuck here.

Well, I plan on planning! Actually, we booked a DJ, but we're also looking at houses this weekend so I still have no idea what is happening with the wedding stuff!

I think eventually, the otehr site will expand & there will be mroe families of different types, nit jsut recently married folks.
FOr now, it mostly the NWR folks from here.

Besides the chat, ther eare articles & things that pertain to general living.

My family consists of me & my husband & we dont' live on LI, but I joined , to say hi.

I will still post here , b/c I like to put my 2 cents in with other people's weddign questions.

I have lurked on LIF but haven't joined yet (mostly too lazy to fill out all the info ). I def will join, though. The only thing I am not getting is that is seems to be the EXACT same site just without bridal based boards. Am I missing something? Like previously stated, I think it may have been formed with the intent to recruit many more families (who previously didn't feel comfortable posting on a wedding site) and more guys. It may peak their interest more if the word 'weddings' is removed from the title. I guess it is going for a broader appeal?
