With one child and another one on the way, my DH and I realized that it is a really bad idea not to have any kind of life insurance... I don't know anything about it and I'm not sure where to start. Any info shared would be much appreciated! TIA!

hello.. i work for an insurance company and sell life insurance. It is definitely a good idea for you and your husband to get especially since you have kids. The prices depend on how much you need and what type of policy you want (term, whole life,etc) You would probably be better getting something long term like whole life or universal life,because with term, it expires after however long the term is for (5yrs,10yrs) and then you have to requalify at your age at that time for a new policy which would be more money. Different things affect the rates too such as age, health and if you smoke or not. If you have house , think about how much your mortgage is, how much you would need to pay off, think about your childrens education, etc. but both you and your hubby should get a policy. This way, god forbid something happens to either one of you, at least your children will be financially okay. FM me if you want any more info! ~Karen
