So if the dining room is off the kitchen - Do you think I should put the same fixture in both rooms??
I'm sure that with different color and decore you can seperate your rooms...i think a pic will help us better understand.
You could get a companion light fixture. So it's not the exact same but one that is from the same family.

I did and everytime I look I get frustrated. I want to go back and change the dining room now. What I would really like to do is purchase two fixtures from the same collection - one for the kitchen and the other for the dinning room. Have the kitchen be a flush mount type and the dining room a hanging fixture.
