I'm having a hard time deciding if I want my bridesmaids to wear a very light shade of pink or a fuchsia shade for their dresses.
My mom thinks their dresses will look white in the pictures, but I don't think so -- If I go with light dresses I want them to have bright pink flowers and if I go with bright dresses I want pale pink flowers....
Which do you think is better for June? any opinions or suggestions??

That is a good possibilty. I think the bright pink will look great for your photos.

Sounds like a great idea to me..best of both worlds!! I was actually thinking of having some bright pinks in my flowers and centerpieces...let me go find a few pics for you..
thanks soooooo much for all the flowers -- OMG I love the centerpiece too -- I'm gonna have to start saving those pics LOL!!!
Now I'm loving the light pink with the bright flowers.....I have some decisions to make

i said bright pink bc like some of the other girls said, it can wash out BM's and it can also look like a baby pink.

I like both color choices. My thought is what if you did both. Like your MOH wears the bright pink and everyone else wears the light pink or vise versa. Or I love the photos where everyone one is wearing a different shade of pink and it all blends nicely together, it could be like 3 different shades or even more, not sure how many girls you have in your bridal party. All I know is either way, I love your choices and I think it will look really nice.

I'm debating between light and bright pink too!! I just can't seem to decide which way I want to go. Then I was thinking maybe doing a navy blue dress with a belted sash in pink...i don't know lol!! I'm going to try on some different colors and see what goes best with my skin tone. The wedding's in May (2009) and I don't think people will be too tan around then.

Maggie I'm gonna go with dark pink...besides it reminds me of our leggings back in 1992!!! HA HA!

Definitely bright pink! we wore light pink in a wedding I was in and we all looked washed out! I love the bright pink!

I'm having the same dilemma. Being that mine is in the fall, I think I am going with the bright pink, with light pink accents.
I saw it in David's Bridal...it was the watermelon color with light pink sash.
For summer, I think you can get away with either one. Pale pink is a great summer pastel, but bright pink will make it pop. It's really up to what you prefer, and also what your BP looks best in.

It also depends on their skin tone. You should definitley have them try on both and see which looks the best.

its a toss up - i think the brighter pink would be more fun because you can always change it up with a light pink sash and fun colored flowers - im sure it will be beautiful
