I dont know about everyone else but as I look at my list of vendors who i absolutely for some reason i cant help to think what if they dont come through like i hope!
The concern right now pictures.
For those of you who are or have used Florio I know he is amazing and has been doing this a long time - but did you make him a list of pictures he should take? What about places in your venue or outside your venue that you want? Or are you trusting that he will just caputre great shots with his own keen eye. Feeling like i need to spell everything out for everyone - control freak side taking over slowly hahaha.

When we booked him, he told us that if we had poses or shots we would like, to let him know that day what we want. He even encouraged us to look at other photographers' sites and galleries to get ideas as well so he can recreate them for us.

I'm the same way. We booked almost a year and a half ago and Florio was booked so he set us up with one of his contracted photographers. I was a little nervous, but he did out engagement shoot which came out great. However I'm starting to get nervous bc I'm a control freak too!! I love photojournalism but I do want table shots because I think they're nice to look back on, and they acted like it was a big to do because they 'normally don't do table shots'... Also looking at everyone Else's photos with other companies is just making me nervous. I'm trying to remind myself of why I booked with them and just trust they will do an amazing job!!! They also have you fill out a survey form a month before the wedding that will Help your photographer better understand what you want!

Trust me, you ladies have nothing to worry about. I actually just got my pictures back today from Florio and I LOVE them!! Our photographers were Florio, Mike and Florio's assistant Curt and our videographers were Ray & Pat.
A few months before the wedding, I gave Florio a two page list of picture ideas that I wanted... I told him I wasn't crazy and didn't need every. single. shot.... but it was just a way of giving him an idea of what kind of pictures I wanted. However, his assistant was RIGHT on top of that list and got the majority, if not all of the pictures on my list. I was not into table shots, however, my husband's parents wanted a few and Florio took them. They took awesome photojournalistic shots that are so interesting that you feel like you're right back at the wedding, but then he also took the typical posed family shots that you would have framed on your wall. They did a nice mix of the 2 styles.
Yes, Florio will give you a sheet to fill out the month before your wedding asking you what styles you like and what part of the day is most important... things like that. It also asks you to list 'must have' pictures on that sheet as well. Most likely Florio has shot at your wedding venue and knows the good spots for pictures... but if you have a specific spot in mind that is a 'must have' for you, it doesn't hurt to be super specific on your list.
I will put some pictures up here in the next couple of days so you can see what I'm talking about!
I'm telling you though, your wedding day is in very good hands!!!!

I was told by them they don't accept 'must have' photo lists because they are photojournalistic...
