I really love lighthouse but Im not sure if i need to book two photographers. Does anyone have any suggestions? We would have Florio as our main photog. Is he SO amazing that he can handle the entire party and capture great pix? Or do I pay an extra 1,000 for two photographers?

I didn't book with them, but we are having 2 photographers so nothing is missed, and a couple angles for different moments. Also when I am getting ready and FH is getting ready, there will be a photographer there for both of us.

I booked with Lighthouse and did pay extra for the 2nd photographer. May not be necessary but liked the idea of the 2nd photographer going to FH's house before the ceremony and liked the idea of having 2 photographers throughout the day.

i am having two photogs..the second may catch something the first misses..i didnt pay extra tho...so its up to you if you want to spend the extra money on that..or use it for something else???

This was the main reason I didn't meet with Lighthouse although I think they do beautiful work. At the time I inquired about pricing and packages (which was this passed summer) they only included 1 photographer and a 2nd one was an upgrade which was too pricey for me and having a 2nd photog was very important to me. While 1 photog is taking pix he may be be missing something elsewhere that the other photog can capture. Also, being able to capture dif angles and views and having a photog their while FH is getting ready with the boys was also important.

We paid for the extra photographer. I mostly wanted it for FH and the extra angles.

I think it depends on how many people you have. We are having 200 people at our wedding (min) so we went with 2 photographers and 1 video. but if you have a small guest list, then it isn't completely necessary. Florio is our main photographer (we booked).

A lot of photographers we met with have been saying the same thing to us. Originally I felt that I needed/wanted 2 photographers.... but each and every company has said that since our guest list is 130 and we only have a MOH and Best Man-there is no reason to have more than 1 photographer. So I guess it depends on your guest list and whatnot.

At that point, I think I would just do the 1 photographer. I think they can manage very nicely with that few of people. The money can be spent elsewhere. No doubt about it.

Exactly and if the studios are being that honest about 1 of their photographers being able to handle the job vs. pushing an unnecessary 2nd photographer on us... I will believe them! I appreciate vendors being honest and saving me money!
