Lighting

After watching many episodes of Platinum Weddings last night, it totally made me want to have a monogram on the dance floor at my RH. I have a band so I am to ask them about lighting.....but does anyone know anyone else for lighting? It needs to be inexpensive please

I got FM from someone at prestige lighting maybe try them. Their website was prestigelightingevents.com

I don't know anything about them bc I am getting lighting from my DJ but maybe they can help..

we are getting from out dj. There are lighting people. like glenn from get in tune prodiuctions. He also has a lighting company, id give him a call and see what he charges for that...

We are also getting this from our DJ, and I negotiated for it and they threw it in with the lighting package I got

Okay I was happy with the 'uplighting' but now I think I want the mongram as well.

i know what you mean! we have some sort of lighting with the bravura dj package but now i think i want MORE!!! it makes the room look so romantic!

The only thing I didn't like was the deluxe light bar over the DJ set up. If I wanted to go to a club, I would. IDK, it just bugs me the idea of it.

I know what you mean.... last night went to meet up with In The Mix DJ. I want uplighting and willing to forgo other things that I want to just get that.

After getting what I think is a pretty decent quote, FH was like do we really need an MC? If I get rid of the MC, the price will be even better, but then I start thinking....
hmmm maybe I want more uplighting, or more intelligent lighting, plasma tv, montages, mongrams.....

Just so much to get and sooo little $$$$

my dj gave us the whole intelligent lighting package plus some extra lighting for the walls

we are having our name on the dance floor like that...Most DJ's offer it.

Shawn and I used to work for Bestek, a lighting company on long island....I know for a FACT that they have crazy insane lights (top of the line for every light they offer) and that they could do the name in lights...I used to cut the gels for the lights (i helped with the setup of the Jagermister party...let me tell you they had custom everything and bestek was able to do it all...)
