Does anyone know how much up lighting typically costs? Dumb question...would I have to go to a separate vendor for this or is it something dj companies or florists do?

Re: lighting question
I think pricing is about $25 or so per light. I could be wrong on that though.
My florist is doing it for us... but I hear normally DJ's do that. They usually have lighting packages. FM Entertainment, I know has packages, as does Body Rock and EJ the DJ.
You are talking about uplighting right? Not the spot lights? Spot lights and tracks lights are all DJ.. just incase.

Re: lighting question
My DJ is doing the lightening. We got light towers and our mongram in lights on the dance floor. It is an additional fee though.

My florist is doing it. I think the proce is determined by how many cans you need.
