Lighting underneath the tables: Classy or Silly?

Lighting underneath the tables: Classy or Silly?

Not sure what I think about this. Our reception is at Floral Terrace, which is an old movie theatre with all the ornate old sculpturing on the walls and ceiling. So I think it might add some nice drama to the overall look. On the other hand, it might just look silly. Has anyone seen this done? What did you think?

I haven't seen it done there but I have seen it done and I didn't care for it..lol..However I recently was at a wedding that had it only where the bride and groom were sitting and I thought it looked awesome!!

When its widespread done, I haven't cared for it. One or two tables like the head table might be nice though.

I saw this done there and its nice but we are using linens to the floor so not doing the lights. Genesis does a nice job if it though and it does looks classy and adds a nice touch.

I saw this set up at my RH at a showcase and only the sweetheart table was light up and I thought it was sooo cool and was a nice touch to really make the table stand out. I wouldn't do it to every table though, think that might be too much.

I am wondering is this would be done instead of overlays? We go visit Genesis today so hope to see pics. I just need to see what it looks like in the room we are using. Thanks so much for the great feedback everyone!
