Lighting when you have a band and not a DJ

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering, for those having bands and not DJ's, what are you doing about lighting? Are you using a lighting company, and if so, can you please recommend? Thank you!!!

we were able to get lighting through our band. they came with colored spot lights that aimed at them on the stage. it wasn't uplighting, but did cause the room to glow in a similar fashion. here's a pic - you can kinda see the red glow.
