Lightweight STRONG luggage???

My awesome coworkers just got me a HUGE giftcard to BBB and now i want to go buy me some luggage for the HM...

Since I need something uber lightweight and strong, I was wondering if you guys had any recs...

I was looking at the Samsonite Gravitron but its SOOOOOOOOO expensive and its 17 lbs by itself...

I would stay away from anything that is 29 inches. Even if it is lightweight, you can stuff so much stuff in it that it will be overweight at the airport.

YESSSS COMPLETELY AGREE... with the 4 wheels, you almost never have to tip it on its side to wheel... it was a freakin lifesaver on our HM when we took 3 diff flights and had 50lb bags each

ETA: we have american tourister from BBB

This is the set that I registered for, and unfortunately did not get any pieces of. FH has one of the same brand already, and we may just use that for now for both of us (disaster in the making, I'm sure), but I intend on eventually getting at least one of my own and my own carry-on from this set.

I highly recommend the Delsey Helium Breeze. It's so lightweight and easy to handle!

it lasts and lasts and lasts too.

Many airlines charge you now for a second bag (if not the first) but its still not as much as they charge for overweight bags, so your better off having two lighter bags then one overweight. Get a smaller bag that can clip to your larger bag. I had two mismatched bags on our honeymoon and so did DH, so we couldn't stack them. DH was not amused at the airport. Only fight we had.

Try Delsey.
