Did you get the letter that they are moving? I'm scared, they are moving their whole store in the fall, and my wedding is in November....I hope my dress doesn't get lost! (It's supposed to get in this month!)

Lillette's will be moving to Bedford Ave in Bellmore in October. All alterations though will still take place at the Baldwin location until probably Dec. Everything else will be handled at the new store.

I called about this becasue I wanted to make sure I wouldn't have any issues picking up my dress. They are moving sometime in the fall BUT they are keeping the fitting department in the Baldwin store until dresses that are in (or will be in soon) have been fitted.

I wish they did this sooner!! Would have been a lot more convenient to get to Bellmore than Baldwin!

i was just in there for my 1st fitting and she assured m all late year brides dresses will be in and the alterations will be don at that store

Yep I got the memo in the mail a few weeks ago.
No worries. I havent had any issues with them even when I had a sh*t fit that my cap sleeves werent on the dress-(turns out they were separate and not with the dress itself-wasnt their fault)
we'll be ok!

I just got my letter late last week. I don't know what order they're sending them out in, but I wouldn't be concerned. Some girls got theirs before me and I was freaking out. About three days later, I got my letter I'm sure you'll get it soon

OMG really?? I was a Lillette bride. Loved them & it was so convienient for me. Im sure they will be very careful about all of their inventory. Also if it comes in before they move. I think u may have the option to take your dress home & bring it to the fittings. Good Luck

we'll see! I feel way better that they are saying they're going to still do alterations in baldwin! Just so much better than shuttling the dress around (for me or for them!) thanks :)
