Lillette's vs. Burton's

I'm debating between ordering my dress at Lillette's vs. Burton's. Burtons price is slightly less, and the alterations are included, the bustle will be about $100.

Lillette's alterations will be approximately $100 + a Bustle which will be about $75.

All in all, ordering from Lillette's will be about $100-150 more. Do you think they would price match or work with me in anyway? (Throw in a veil, etc?)

Does anyone know the quality of alterations at Burtons vs. Lillette's? I can't decide!

I didn't look at Burton's, but I'm getting my gown from Lillette's. It can't hurt to call and ask and explain that you'd like to buy the gown from them, but Burton's gave you a better price. They'll probably be willing to work with you.

Yes, I was thinking that too. My shoes will be here soon, so I figured I'd try the dress with the shoes (might not need a hem!) and speak to them. They were very kind and I'd like to at least give them to opportunity to match or come close to the Burton's price.

I ordered my dress from Burton's because the price was lower and the alterations were free (except for the bustle).

Several of my friends have gotten their gowns from Burtons and I personally have gotten 2 BM dresses from their for other weddings and their alterations have always been great. No problems at all!
