Lillettes..anyone?

I ordered my dress back in Jan/feb of this year from Lillettes. I called to see if my dress came in yet but they are telling me that my dress and my BM dress won't come in until 6 - 8 weeks before the wedding.

Is this correct? Why can't it come sooner? I didn't know it takes a year to come in...this can not be right? What should I do?

i think lillettes doesnt actually order them until the timing will work out to 6-8 weeks prior-so if a dress takes say 5 months to come in, even if you order it a year in advance they wont put their order in until that 5 month point

i know i want my dress too

omg!!!! That is sooo stupid. Here i am waiting for my dress and they prob didnt' even order it!!!!! Oh man. I'm sooo mad!!!!!

Ditto, although I specifically requested for my dress to come in a month earlier than that......the only catch is we pay the balance due when the dress comes in and not at pick up.

Doesn't really make a difference though, as they don't start fittings until around 6 weeks before.
