Limewire

Limewire

I was wondering, I replied to a post about free music for ipods. I used to use this site called kazaa and it crashed my computer because Im told some of these free sites have virus on them. Anyone know of some free sites that don't cause any problems?

i use limewire, and once or twice i had some spyware appear on my computer. i make sure that i use my virus scanning software and Ad aware program after using limewire, to ensure nothing happens

I use limewire and get a ton of spyware... but still use it anyway. If you love your computer, Id advise against it.

we just use itunes. FH always used to use Limewire, but it caused computer problems, and really slowed down his old computer

Us too. NEVER had a problem with spyware or anything.

Ooooo I had a serious issue with kazaa myself.

Myself, Peter and my parents use limewire...never a problem, never any ads, pop ups....its fast, so much to choose from...I totally recommend limewire!

I use limewire as well and I have never had a problem. But I have a really good virus protection on my comp, I would advise you protect your computer first.

I use limewire with no real problems.

I use Avast, it's a really good free anti-virus program, it's caught a couple of viruses being downloaded and stopped them before my comp got infected.

don't use it!! i did and now my computer is acting all weird. lots of pop ups too.

It's the best anti-virus progam I've used. FH is a computer programmer and he installed it for me, so I trust it.

we use lime wire. wont say that we have NEVER had a problem but very few. just remember to disconnect when you are done. it isnt the same as just closing out. It would be very wise to use a virus scanner and spyware dector after and prior to use.
