LIMO

Okay I booked Camelot on Saturday . . and I think I booked my time to early.

I am getting married @ Watermill in Smithtown on Wednesday July 3, 2013.

The problem:

I live in Queens and as if LIE traffic is not horrific on a normal day I can't imagine what it will be like the day before a holiday.

My ceremony Starts at 5:00pm and will be held there. I booked my limos to pick me up @ 12:30 and fh husband up at 1 < both pick ups are practically at the same place . . FH and my house is directly next door to his parents house. After booking 12:30 and 1 I am thinking that it is a little to early. I figured 1 ½ trip from Queens to Smithtown with traffic and it I leave at 12:30 I will get there by 2 that leaves me 3 hours there for pictures before ceremony?!? I think I should push both pick ups back 1 hr so I can be there 2 hours early. Any one have any advice?

Were you planning to do pictures during cocktail hour & not attending it? I have about 3 1/2 hours in between my ceremony & cocktail hour so that I can attend my CH and not feel rushed w/the pictures. Honestly, I'd rather give myself more time than not, because like you said, who knows how traffic will be.... or if every one will be ready on time and especially if you want to get your pictures done before the ceremony. I think 3 hours is fine, but that may just be me and my OCD personality.... hahaha

Your right. I don't want to do pictures during CH hour I want some time to refresh before reception. So maybe the timing is okay. Haha I have this habit of having to double check after I make a decision

leave the time!! its better to hurry up and wait, then to just hurry up! you dont want to be stressing about the timing, and im sure watermill will have a setup for you to relax before the ceremony.
