Limo bus/ Party bus, warning! Something you need to check on!
If you have a party bus or limo bus booked for your wedding, or are thinking about it, read on!
We got a party bus through a limo company. It was wonderful, but I am so glad I checked on something the week of the wedding. All their limos said they came with champagne. I called the company to see if we could also add our own beer in addition to the champagne, and if there was room, or if we needed to bring coolers.
Come to find out: Party buses are under different liquor laws than limos! Although limo companies own them, they are under bus laws or something. (I'm not good with laws, so bear with me) The company could not provide champagne to us, we had to bring our own.
This isn't such a big deal if you know about it. But I found another bride who went through the same thing and was so upset they didn't have champagne when they got on the limo bus because she didn't check ahead of time. Luckily, I called that week to double check on this. I believe every comapny is different, so check before your big day! Some companies use their limo buses so often that they have purchased this other type of liquor license. Just thought you'd want to know.
