Re: limo companies
M&V is very overpriced. Try Sir Oliver in Sayville. They are who we and alot of girls on here are using. They are great.

Coachman is really good and has a large selection. AA yore is another one we have used on various occasions and were very happy with.

I haven't seriously looked into to any besides visiting a couple websites here and there, but one of my friends used Cruise Control and loved them!

I would forget M&V if I were you. Definitely go with someone else. Also, don't go too cheap, because I went to a wedding last week and the limo never picked up the guys, showed up 35 minutes late for the bride, then the bus for after the church smelled like urine and had fruit flies everywhere. Set a really bad tone for the rest of the day.

Re: limo companies
I am definitely going to find out when they get back from their honeymoon. A lot went wrong with that wedding. The photographer was on his cell phone when they finally showed up while part of the bridal party walked down the isle, missed those pics (and they are an expensive place too!), then the worst...we didn't eat until 11 pm and it was buffet so we were on line for 25 minutes waiting for our food. People were NOT happy. They skimped out on the cocktail hour too because I didn't see any food come my way, and there was hardly anything for the bridal party. People were taking money out of their cards!!! The hall has a great reputation too, I guess it is just you get what you pay for.

It's scary. And I know it is one day of your life, and I refuse to over do it, but at the same point, people were NOT happy last week (I was drunk and happy) and I learned the most important things are limo, dj, food. Oh, that was another thing, they didn't have any imported beers either. A lot of people don't even consider Bud a beer, so they weren't happy. Things like flowers, centerpieces, etc., that is something people hardly take notice of. Give them good food and good music...and they will go home happy.

I went to a wedding like that, not only was I stuck at a table and I could hardly see or hear what was going on, the CH I couldnt get through to the food, the dinner was buffet style (which is fine but I wanted to go and get seconds and they cleared it already ) the DJ was horrible (he played slow songs all the time, I mean I love Greg but slow dancing with him all night long ) - it seems like noone was dancing at all... and to make matters worse I did not feel welcome there, not once did the bride come up to me to talk at least come up to the table I felt like she wouldnt care if I was or wasnt there.... blah, I am done lol

Ah ha ha. This bride didn't say one word to me either! It was my FH's friend getting married to her. She always acted as if she was above all of us. I don't care for people like that. I went up to her at the CH and saw that she had cards in her hand and I said, oh, I guess I should give my card to you and she rolled her eyes and said 'I GUESS so'. Didn't even say thanks after she took it. I felt like tearing it up in front of her. I told FH (he was in the party) that as I was getting ready for the reception that I tore his check and wrote another one and he was upset about it, but after the wedding said, its a good thing you did that!

honestly I was going to give her more money but people told me thats too much, I thanked god later that I listened to them or I would be even more pissed what hurts the most is that I spend a lot of money on it (new dress, new suit for greg, new shoes, etc.) she was my friend from high school and I just felt she should have treat her guests like she would want to be treated....
