Limo for an hour
I may not be able to dress at my temple because I need to start getting ready before they will allow me to get in the building. That's fine because I have the honeymoon suite booked at the Roslyn Claremont Hotel, and I can dress there and even take a few bridesmaid pictures there and then drive over to the temple which is like 5 minutes away. The problem is that I need a BIG backseat to ride in with my gown on. I was hoping to hire a Rolls Royce just to take me from the hotel to the temple and then we could also pose for a few pictures in it. Does anyone know of a limo company that will rent me a limo or Rolls Royce for about an hour without completely overcharging? I'm getting married in less than 2 weeks and I'm sorta in a bind. Any tips will be appreciated!! Thanks!

Limo for an hour
I would try a corporate car service company. I am thinking executives may need to have a limo for only an hour or so. I don't know the names of any of these companies or what their rates may be.

Limo for an hour
We looked at several places trying to find someone who would rent us a limo for just 2 hours and had absolutely no luck. We just wanted to get me to the church then get the bridal party to the reception 4 miles away after the ceremony. All the limo companies were firm on the 3-hour minimum which was about the same cost as the wedding package which they insisted we had to have, even though the ride was so short we wouldn't even have time to get the cork out of the champagne. If you have an evening wedding you could try one idea I read about in a book - call a funeral home and ask about renting their limo. They are clean, new and as long as you are not having a daytime wedding, they are not in use. As long as you don't mind black you should be able to save a lot.

Limo for an hour
I, too, only needed a limo for an hour (merely to take us from the reception to our hotel), and couldn't find one. They were on a three hour minimum, but it didn't cost more than $300, if I remember correctly. Most of them seemed to be around the same price. So, if you do have to have it for three hours, take advantage of it. Have lots of fun pictures taken with you, and with you and your fiance in it, on it, around it, etc. You might want to use the limo to pick up your parents, etc. too. And, part of that time that he's there, make sure he's about half an hour early. Good luck.

Limo for an hour
Sara I'm also getting married in a Temple. I am doing everything at home except putting on my dress. I'll do that when I get there so it doesn't get messed up. What temple are you getting married at? I'm going to Judea on Searingtown Road.

I'm going to see 2 limos companies...
and they both have hourly rates. They have no problem with you only getting the limo for an hour or two. I've already spoken to them about it. Try Clique Limousine in Bayshore, they have a link in the vendor section here, and then try New York Style Limousine in Holbrook, their web page is www.nystylelimo.com It's probably too far for you, but I know they do this. Good luck!

Car service
I would check with a few car service companies, I have the name of one at home that I will post tonight for you. A limo should be big enough. I work in a business where I rent cars often so I know they will do an hourly rate. Why waste the money on a Rolls for a 2 minute trip. Spend the extra on your honeymoon.

Limo for an hour
I also wanted a Rolls just for the ride from my house to the catering hall, but no company will do it for just an hour without charging the full price. I did find a limo company 2 weeks before my wedding that charged me $160.00 to take me from Oyster Bay to Lake Ronkonkoma. The limo was clean and in good condition, but the driver was not very nice and kept trying to get us to hurry (we were a little late). I would not recommend Dynasty Limo, so if you are looking at them you might want to look elsewhere.
