Are you getting a limo?? Im getting married at the same place as my reception. I wasnt sure if I would get a limo to take me and the girls to the place or pick up FH and us to take pics.

Me too, no limo. Figured it was a good way to cut costs.

No Limo here either...for the same exact reason of that it seemed like a great place to cut costs...I really don't think they are necessary.

Re: Limo ?? For those not getting married at a church
I'm getting a limo to drive me, my mother, and the girls to the place. I live about a half-hour away and we won't have enough cars (I don't own a car). My FIL said that they were going to pay for all transportation, so that definitely affected my decision. If your reception is not that far away, then maybe a limo is not necessary.

I got married at my hall and I had a limo drive me and the bms to the hall...bms had dates or friends drive them home...GMs got there with their own cars
DH had a limo for his family (12...too many for a car) and I hopped into their limo on the way home.
we were able to get 1 hour at a time rates...

I got married at the same place as my reception and limos were not needed. If you will be getting dresses at the place also you def do not need it.

Re: Limo ?? For those not getting married at a church
We are having everything @ one location and are using limos. A lot of the groomsmen are from out of town and all of my bm's don't have cars- so I figured- why not (plus my FFIL is footing the bill). So we got 3 of them & a passenger van for the out of towners staying @ the hotel.

One reason I agreed not to get married in church was so that we would save $$ on the limos.

We are getting married at the hall and will be using limosines. I think it will be nice to spend some quiet time alone with him before the ceremony to talk and calm my nerves!

Re: Limo ?? For those not getting married at a church
I booked my limos on Monday...and I'm getting married at the hall. Since my bridal party is taking pics at my house, all my girls will pile into a limo with my parents, and head to the hall together. We also booked a car to take us to our hotel after the wedding, and one for fh's family. We also booked a hotel shuttle. It saved quite a bit of money to book one way limos only.

I'm not using a limo. I'm getting married at the site ( Fox Hollow) and will be staying at the hotel next door the night before the wedding.Welcome New Vendors
