Limo Frustration!

Limo Frustration!

I cannot believe the prices these vendors want to charge for limos. Maybe I'm crazy but if they charge one price for a night out and they charge $260 more per hour for a wedding that's absolutely ridiculous. All they do is sit in the car and wait for you for $300-$400 an hour - honestly I must be in the wrong business

It's really making me depressed. I wanted to get a Rolls but now I'm thinking it would be better to save the $500.

Thanks for listening I really needed to vent!

no problem.

Check out Mayfair Limos. They have the cheapest prices out there. They are in East Northport.

2 eight passengers for 3.5 hours
and 1 eight passenger pu/do only.
$840

I don't know who you've already looked at but Sir Oliver has pretty good prices. Also, I heard Double Diamond in Brooklyn does too!

I totally agree! I decided to get regular 10 passenger white limos from Royalty b/c transportation just shouldn't cost so much! No Rolls but I'll deal.

I looked at a lot of limo prices!

Double Diamond is great (vendor on here) and so is Sir Oliver.

Re: Limo Frustration!

Thanks ladies...I'm just venting. I know that there are some really good limo companies out there but it just seems obsurd that the SAME limo could cost two different prices. They do more work and running around and dealing with crazy people on a night in the city then they ever would for a wedding yet they jack up the prices because it's for a wedding. I just hate feeling taken advantage of. And I actually asked a company what the difference was and they said no real monetary difference - it's a wedding package That makes sense!

You just have to laugh it off I suppose

Re: Limo Frustration!

I got the best deal ever from Serenity Limos. I priced Royalty (they wanted to charge me for the car to return from East Wind to their showroom without me in it!!), Sir Oliver, and All Star. I needed a 5 hour package, not a 3 hour with OT. Eddie did right by me! I would absolutely recommend you talk to him.

just out of curiosity, what would happen if you never told them it was a wedding?

Re: Limo Frustration!

I don't know. I thought about that but I didn't want the stress of it. I wanted to give them the locations in advance so that they had directions etc. Plus I didn't want to deal with it if they got pissed on my wedding day

I would assume they would figure it out by the pick-ups and drop-offs, they ask for this info beforehand.

Check out Sir Oliver and Royalty. Out of the limos we saw, those were most reasonably priced. I heard good things about All Star, Alexis and Double Diamond as well.
