Limo help....

I am so lost on how this limo thing is supposed to go down. Can someone help me on the best way to make this work most cost effectively??

FH is getting ready at our apt, I am getting ready at the hotel. we are going to see each other before the ceremony to take pictures, but i still want our 'meeting' to be special. I was thinking of having the limo pick up the guys and bring them to where we are taking pictures, then have the same limo come and get me and the girls from the hotel and bring us to the picture location. after pictures, we all get into the same limo and go to RH. is that weird? does it make sense?? i dont know how this works and every time i try to think of a plan it sounds crazy lol. Originally i was going to have the limo do 2 trips - one for the guys to RH and then the girls to RH and thats it, but i forgot about pictures beforehand. is it weird for us to all get in the same limo after pictures and go to the RH together???

FH isnt thrilled with this idea, he thinks its wasting a lot of time. He doesnt think we need to take pics someplace else, he thought we would just do them at the RH. Our RH doesnt have too many places to take pics, its on the water but no beach access or anything. Should i just suck it up and take the pics there to make everything easier or is it really not that big a deal to go someplace else for pictures??

If you really want to take pics before hand, instead of having the limo drop them off then pick you up, book one limo for the whole time and get another limo just for a pick up drop off...I would recommend your FH use the PU/DO car and your actual limo pick you up at the hotel. This way you can arrive somewhat at the same time then all jump into the same limo after pics are done. The whole limo thing can get very expensive so try and cut your corners where possible.

I would not however cut out your picture location if that is what you really want, you will come to regret not doing it if your RH does not have a lot of locations to take pics at.

Talk to Joe at Camelot - he gave me a great price to do something similar. We're getting married at the RH and we're taking pics before. I'm getting ready at my mom's and FH will be at the hotel. So the limo will be picking me and the girls up, dropping us at the RH and then going to the hotel to get FH and the boys and then dropping them off at the RH.

Also, if you really want pictures outside the RH - then def do it - you don't want to regret it later. HTH!

i think my main concern with taking pictures somwhere else is just having the day be more hectic and rushed. FH isnt in love with the idea, thinks pics at the RH will be fine. I would like to take pics at a beach somewhere but just dont want to add more craziness to the day. Seems like going from the hotel to the RH will be the most relaxed and more time efficient, but then i wont have those pictures.......... dont know what to do

What about a rolls or antique car picking you up and dropping you and maybe MOH to pic location. Limo can pick up the girls then head to pick up the guys and the car can take you to the pic location and meet there. Or even a town car would work, much cheaper, but not as nice. Pick and drop is more expensive than a 3 hr rental.

We have amazing pics from the beach b4 the ceremony and love it. I like them better than pics at the rh. We started at the Holiday Inn and got some amazing pics at the hotel. does the hotel have any places for pics? that will give you 2 locations. they can pick up guys and meet at the hotel, take pics, and head to rh. You would only need one limo then
