Ok I called everywhere and then narrowed it down to 3 limo companies and I want to choose today...I met with those 3 companies today but am having a hard time choosing.
Without me mentioning names which would you choose?
Limo Co #1 Very reputable company, the type of limo is totally custom there, very clean, great customer service. They are the most expensive...$1,700 with tips.
Limo Co #2 Not a very talked about limo company on LIW, great looking limo outside but inside smelt a little like smoke, not as nice inside, people were nice there. They are the least expensive...$1,250 with tips.
Limo Co #3 Another not very talked about limo company on LIW but they are a house vendor for my RH, limo was more spacious than the other two, very clean and the people were very nice there, they're right in the middle...$1,500 with tips.

I would go with #1 or #3 just because they are either recommended by LIW or by your RH. I know the smell of smoke would irk me.

I'd say that you should check out company #2 and #3 on the better business bureau website. Even if theyre not talked about on LIW, there should be entries on bbb.org. If they are considered unsatisfactory by bbb, then I definitely wouldn't go with them.

I'd go with the 3rd company. They're right in the middle in price, and if your RH referred them then they should be good. I'm also going with a compnay that isn't talked about at all on LIW, but they had the nicest cars for the best price.
I definitely wouldn't go with the stinky limos

I agree. Not so much b/c they are recommended by someone, since most places pay to be a preferred vendor, but the smell of smoke would bother me. i wouldn't want my gown or the bridal party smelling like smoke after sitting in the car.

I would go with #1 or 3...if you want to save a little bit go with 3, at least its recommended by your RH.

My thoughts exactly but I had to actually hear it come from other people before I made my decision. Limos are the only thing that I am HATING spending any money on!!!!!

I would go with #3. Prices is reasonable, you got a good impression from them and obviously your RH feels good enough about them to recommend them. Just because a company is talked about alot on LIW, doesn't necessarily make them the best choice.

It's your decision, but I personally feel it's worth it to pay more for a better reputation. I can't imagine my limo not showing up on my wedding day, but I've heard of that happening to people. I would pick the least expensive option that you feel is reliable. I second checking the BBB site for those not verified on LIW.

I went to 2 places on here that are competitors and had the price reduced and matched by the limo company.

I would go for Company #1 or #3. It is always better to use someone that comes recommended... also, i do not think you want to use a stinky limo on ur wedding!!!!

I know what you mean... this was my fiance's department to make the decision because I didn't care about the limos.

I would try to negotiate company #1 down to company #3's price.... or go with company #3

I voted for one since they are very reputable. However, #3 sounds good too. They have to be pretty good if your RH recommends them.
