Limo Logistics Question

For girls taking a limo to your ceremony...


Are you riding with your mom/dad/parents, with your BM's or with someone else?

How are you organiziaing you transportation if you are getting married somewhere besides your reception site and doing photos in between? I thought I had it figured out, but FMIL said aren't you supposed to ride with your dad to the ceremony? and threw a wrnch into my plan.

Personally, I feel like, I'm not 20, my dad doesn't have a home here where I'll be getting ready and I haven't lived with him in years, so while we are very close, we'll have our moment before church, but I don't necessarily need to ride with him.... but is that wrong? GAAAAAAH, HATE THIS PART!!!

I'm riding in a rolls with my parents. My bridesmaids will be in a separate limo. For me, riding in the car with my parents alone was something I really wanted. If it's not what you want, then don't do it! It's YOUR day, don't let anyone throw wrench's in your plan!

Problem is that my BM's and GM's will be coming from different locations to go to church, they won't be close enough to use one car for guys and girls... so if I ride separate with my dad, that's a third car we need to get and I REALLY don't wanna. As of now, no parents are riding in the limos at all.

gotcha... what was your original plan?or did you not have one?

i'm going with both my parents in the rolls.

My BP is going in the party bus.

Extended family in the navigators.

I am geting picked up with my mom and dad to go to the church and FH and the bridal party are going in the bridal party limo. After the church FH and I will take the car my mom and dad came in and my parents will have there car waiting for them at the church.

I live with my parents still..so I guess it may be a little different. Maybe you should ask her dad what he thinks...does he want to ride to the church with you?

We are getting an antique that is only bringing us to the church. Then we are getting a limo to bring the guys and then the girls to the wedding. The party bus will meet at the church - us and BP will get in the party but and the limo will become the parents car.

Original plan was to have me and my girls go in the Inifinty, boys go in the Chrysler 300, then after church, me and FH int he 300 and the BP int he Inifinty since it's 20 passenger and th 300 in 10, I believe(Cause FH wants us to have our own car. I'd rather all ride together in the Infinity but whatever)

Seriously, I was looking to spend as little as possible on limos and FH has already bumped it up by about $500.

I haven't arranged any to church or after reception transportation.... I don't plan to ride in a limo with my parents because i'm not sure if my dad will be getting ready with my FH and GM....

In between, we have a 10 passenger limo for BP and us only!

My plan is to ride to the church with my mom in a car.

Limobus will pick up the girls at my house..then go to FSIL's house to pick up the guys and FH bring them all to the church.

As of now I want to go in the bus after to do our other pictures but my mom thinks we are throwing away money if we ride in the limobus.

I told her she can ride around in it (since it's paid for anyway).

Bottom line do what you feel is best.

I'm riding in the antique Rolls with my dad. The party bus will pick up the guys first to bring them to the church and then pick up the girls to bring them to the church.

After the church, we'll hop on the party bus to go take pictures or we will take the Rolls to the picture site. We only have the Rolls for 3 hours.

We have a large bridal party (16 people), plus my parents, FH & I. I wanted a limo but I thought it would be too hot and tight.

It's YOUR day! Do what makes YOU happy. Stop thinking about everyone else too much. :) That's what I have to keep telling myself.
