Limo Problem, Please help

Limo Problem, Please help

Ok, So as you all may remember, I was soo happy when I booked my limo company. We are having a limobus for 9 hours to bring us and bridal party from Church to hall and pick up our guests and..... Ok well we left a 1/3 deposit without a contract (I know but this will work to our favor). So they say they will mail the contract. A week later I call and they say they are sorry and will send it that day. Well I recieve it a week and another phone call later. The bill reflects a different fee per hour than we agreed upon, no specifics on the bus and NO deposit. So I call immediately and they say, Miss Smith we mailed the contract yesterday. So I tell him I know but it is wrong and go through the errors. We go back and forth on the price and end up at the original number, he tells me they never charged my card the deposit so not to worry and they will add the typ of bus onto the contract.

So I get the BILL, not contract yesterday. It is the correct price BUT it says a coach bus! It also doesnt say anything about the deposit. So I pulled my records and they charged my card $500 on the first of September.

I have been calling around and found another company I like and want to cancel with this one. Has anyone canceled a vendor? What is the best way to handle this as they think they haven't charged us at all (I have the receipt). I was going to bring FH because I think it will help to have a man there.

Any advice would be great!

First off, if you want to find another limo company, i would call the credit card company and tell them what happend and see if you can dispute the charge. Make it very clear to them that this company did not state on the bill that you left a deposit with them. Hold on to all the paperwork b/c the credit card company might ask for it in the end to help the dispute.

I have looked at Cruise Control Limo in Lindenhurst and I also have heard good things about All Star. All though, I did find All Star a bit pricey.

Good luck and I hope all works out for you.

I have used them for transportation to and from the airport and was suprised that this is their behavior but it is. I wouldn't worry to much.
