Limo 'protocol'?

Limo 'protocol'?

Who's expected to be trasnported in limos? I'm trying to figure out the logistics of where we'll all get ready (girls at a hotel, guys at a groomsman's house) - how many limos and from where to where.

Any help? Thanks!

This was what I was told by my wedding day coordinator and my MOH. The groomsmen & groom are bought by limo to the church about 30 minutes before the ceremony. That limo or a second limo then goes to where the bride is. There are two ways you can do this. The bride and her parents can ride alone in a limo together with the bridesmaid in a separate limo, or the whole bunch can all go in the same limo. To save time and cost, I'm having the original limo come back to where I'm staying with my girls after the groomsmen are dropped off to get me, my parents and the bridesmaids. Then, after the ceremony, it will just be the wedding party in the limo with the bride and groom and someone in my family will take care of my parents for me. Hope this helps!
Also, ask the limo company. This is what I did as well, because although a 10 passenger limo is supposed to seat 10, they ask how big your wedding party is in size as well as the build of each person in case you need the extra space. With the size of my dress, I need 2 seats, so you want to make sure the limo company as the available cars that you will need.

Re: Limo 'protocol'?

I have one limo going to get the guys at FH's house, and a separate limo to come get me, my girls, my mom, and my brother who is escorting me down the aisle. After the ceremony, one limo will bring me & FH (oops, DH at that point) to reception, the other will bring BP to reception, and a third limo is arriving to transport my entire family to reception.
