Limo Question

Limo Question

I have pretty much decided what company I want to use for Limos. However I have been HIGHLY recommended to book the Limos ASAP b/c even tho our wedding is about 1 1/2 yrs away, it is on a Thurs during PROM season!

I don't want to get screwed out of the limo I want.

BUT...FH does not think we need a limo.

How can I convince him??

Also, what recorse do/will I have if the limo company does not get us the limo we want on our wedding day?

I am SO afraid of booking a particular limo and the company double booking and we get the 'shaft'

Thanks!

Re: Limo Question

Hi Jill,
We had the same issue. Limos were tough to get for us, really tough. We met with a few of htem, even one which gets raves here and we left so dissapointed. ANyway, we're getting married on a busy prom night also and just booked limos last month. You do not have to book a year and half in advance...they may give you a better price if yu do, but it's not necessary. I have read and have been told that prom kids start calling about 4 months in (so they're calling now for my night)...as long as you book and it's in your contract you should be OK. Go with an honest, reputable company...my limo company told me right away that we could not have a pick up after the reception (he gave us a HM airport R/T instead) and whenever I have called him he always remembers our cars - so unless something tragic were to happen - I know that those are the limos I'm getting. It's in my contract, but most of them have clauses that should 'something happen to the car' they can replace...

You have time, don't stress over this yet!

BTW - my limo company recently became a vendor here...send him FM just to get a 'vibe'.

Royalty is the one I had a not so great experience with. I'm glad they worked out for you...but not my cup of tea AT ALL.
