Limo question

Based on all of your recommendations, I think I am going to use Royalty Limos. I am out of town- do you think it's okay to book over the phone or do you really need to go look at the cars and stuff?
THANKS!

Re: Limo question

KC, never book over the phone.
I worked for a corporate limo co. for 10 years.

My fiance & I are going to look at Royalty Limos next weekend.

If you'd like I'll take pics of the specific cars you are interested in & email them to you.

Also theres alot you need to know before you book.
I can give you alot of insider tips that I myself will ask them.

Jenn

Re: Limo question

KC go to their website and look at their cars. Talk to your fiance.
I need to look at the actual cars you want to book, then i'll go again 3 days before your wedding to make sure i get the plate # of the cars you are getting and make sure they don't have scratches, dents, etc.
let me know.

Re: Limo question

it's too late for me, but how about posting a list of insider tips that people should ask, since you have the inside scoop. I am going with royalty - but we are not having limo's, instead their large party bus.

Re: Limo question

You might want to call them and explain your situation to them .. tell them you are out of town, but have heard good things about them, are seriously interested in them, and would like to see the cars. You should definitely stop in and look at the cars .. it's completely different seeing the cars in person, and sitting in them, then looking at pictures of them! When we met with them, I walked in thinking I wanted a Rolls and Jaguar. As we looked at the cars, and had fun 'trying them all on' it got a little confusing .. they were all so nice. But, in the end, after some discussions, and a little negotiating, we did go for the Rolls and Jag. They have several different Rolls Royces .. and so many cars to pick from! We met with Mike, and he was absolutely wonderful .. he spent so much time with us, and left us alone at the right moments so we could discuss things privately .. and that was on Christmas Eve!!

Definitely call them!

Re: Limo question

I called before I was in town to book them just to get a feel and I was able to negiotiate the pricing alot more in person. So if anything, have someone local go in and get the best price for you. I was ready to get into price negotiating mode, but they met my price without any issues! Just do your research and stand firm on what you are willing to pay.

Re: Limo question

Honestly, I don't think you need to look at the cars if you already know what you want. Normally I wouldn't give this sort of advice but Royalty's limos are all clean and in good shape...its not worth a whole trip here to see a limo that you have seen many times before. However - if you want one of the speciality cars, its probably best to take a look and decide between them by sitting inside.
