Limo question

Limo question

Has anyone gotten one limo for their entire bridal party, bm's and gm's? The entire party is 18 people including my fg and rb so I was thinking of getting a stretch hummer or escalade for all of them. Oddly enough my fh and I live across the street from eachother so pick-up shouldn't be a problem. any thoughts on the idea??

I think that would be fine. If you are worried about seeing each other before the ceremony then I wouldn't do that. If you have no problem with it then that is fine.

Remember you will need at least a 20 pass-you lose 2 seats. does 18 include you and FH? I think a little xtra space is good and would consider a 24 pass. I think it should be an issue. We did one plus the rolls for us and even picked the parents up in it too.

Re: Limo question

it's 18 without us but i think the fh and i will just go in the rolls. and 18 is including my fg and rb but i think they'll probably go with their parents because they're 6 and 4. Thanks for the advice

Alot of people do that Nicole- we almost did. Its nice. Its keeps the whole BP together- like its one big party :)

What about parents though- are you going to have them in the limo?

Re: Limo question

I think it will work, my fh and I live two blocks away from each other and we got one navigator, which will go to his house and get the guys, then come back and get the girls. Then they'll all go to the reception together in the one navigator. It's a 14 person car and there are 10 in the bridal party and 2 kids. I actually got a classic car also, but fh and I could easily fit in the limo.

Yeah I think that's what we're going to do. I was thinking about maybe just getting a regular lincoln limo for like 6 people if my partents and Charles and Jean want to hop in there so they don't have to drive.

Re: Limo question

we did this, our bridal party plus us rode together after the ceremony to pic locations and then RH

we had 22 ppl in our bridal party and including us that was 24 ppl so we got a party bus. This worked out great for us bc everybody had plenty of room, it was a 40-60 passenger one. The reason why we did the party bus and not a limo is bc most limos first of all are 22 passenger, there are a few bigger but not many. ALso with a limo if its a 22 passenger then you DONT actually try and fit 22 ppl in there bc it is a tight squeeze if you go by the amount of the actual limo. You always go by about 2 less. Plus not to mention with a wedding dress you'll need more space than usual.

Honestly, 18 people may be a little squished in a strech escalade or hummer.
We got a limo bus (I think it can hold like 20 something people) for 14 people (bridal party & us) and it was nice that we had room to move around and not be right on top of eachother.

Re: Limo question

We are doing the same thing. In order to save money, we have the limo picking him and his men up at his parents house, dropping at the church, picking me and my BM’s up at my house and then we are all going to the RH together. Including us, there will be 12 and we got the Escalade. This was the most cost effective way for us. With 18, you maybe better with the smaller party bus, just so you all have room.
For my sisters wedding they did the Rolls Royce, where the bride, groom, best man and maid of honor went in a separate car. When we got to the RH, I felt like I missed out on all the “fun” that took place in the limo with the other guys and girls. Just my opinion though.

I really want to do this because we have 22 people including FG and RB but FH doesn't want a party bus. I am having a hard time convincing him. So we might have to do 2 14 passenger limos and then a rolls for us. I'm not sure. This is the one part of planning that is not fun for me.

has he seen one in person? maybe that will help with the decision. At first i was afraid of what the outside would look like bc ive seen some that i dont like but it looked awesome from the outside, kinda like a tour bus looks hahaha. PLUS we had a 50 inch plasma tv, the inside looked great and LOTS of space. There was one table with a booth and dh and i sat at the booth, so comfy and lots of room and easy to sit and have drinks hahah. ALso has vip section.

Yes, we had a limo for the whole bridal party. Actually that limo picked up the boys at DH's house and dropped them off at the church. Then it came to my house to get me and the girls.

Re: Limo question

I hired a Limo Bus for all of us to get around that day. It was so much fun being with everyone and we had so much room to spread out. I even included the Bridal Party's guest to join us, if they wanted. It worked out perfectly and no worries where the other limos were.
