I was just thinking over the limos for a bit... And, what do we do with the parents? LOL Should I have two town cars to bring them home after the wedding? I know my Mom is riding with me to the church... and her boyfriend said that he will drive her home. But what about the in-laws? Do they ride in the limo to the church with the guys..? Or do they ride themselves there? Should I get a town car for them at least?? LOL Sorry...I just never thought of that before HA

Re: Limo Question
We had to ask our parents what they wanted to do. My parents are driving themselves, and FH's parents are also. A town car would be a really nice gesture if they're in need of a ride, but I would definitely ask them first. If they don't mind driving themselves, its easier than having to pay for more transportation.

Re: Limo Question
i ended up thinking of same thing this morning! regular limos are called 10 person limos but they only seat 8! i never knew that!
so im like oh, crap, i have 8 person bridal party! hahah, so no room for fiance and i!!! so i ended up ordering one more limo this morning. with the extra space, we can add the in law parents and mine and everyone gets to ride fancy for the day

Re: Limo Question
We have two limos for the church. We are bringing my mom's car to the church earlier in the day.
The Escalade will pick up the gms and fh and bring them to the church, then come to my house for my bms. The Austin Princess will take mom, dad and I to the church. FILs will drive themselves.
After the church mom and dad will drive to pictures and then home. FILs will drive to pictures then to the hotel. The bridal party will be in the Escalade, fh and I in the Austin Princess.
For the reception, we are arriving by boat (but have a limo back up plan in case of rain.) The Escalade and Austin will bring the bp and us to the reception hall (or we will all be on the Sea Ray.) We have a town car picking up my parents from their house and bringing them to the reception hall. A bus will take FILs and our OOT guests to the reception hall.
After the reception. Our BP will either get on the bus with FILs and OOT guests or go home with their dates/rides. The limo company is comping a town car for FH and I to take us to the hotel (where FH's car will be for the next day). A town car is picking up my parents.
We added the town car for my parents after we planned everything else. My father decided he was spending all this money on the wedding, this was not the place to save a buck. No cop is going to let you off the DUI because it was your daughters wedding, not in todays world.

Re: Limo Question
My parents aren't coming in the limo with us. Well, maybe my dad will since obviously he needs to walk in with me. If not, he'd go missing in action and I'd be running around the church looking for him and probably crash right into FH, thus dooming us forever.
My mom will be rocking the minivan towing grandparents and dates, so she'll need to drive anyways.

I'll have to ask them what they want to do. Thank ladies. It's good to have an idea what everyone else does for all the parents. lol
