Limo Question

Limo Question

How does booking limos work? We think that we will only need one limo. Me and my girls will go to the Church in the limo. Then the entire Bridal party will go from the Church to the Venue. Do we get charged by the hour? Do we all take a limo home and pay for the limo that entire time? Would it make sense to just go home with dates and family rather then take a limo home? I am just so unclear on how all that works.

Re: Limo Question

I think you can do it how ever you want. This was the one thing that confused me too.

For example, we got one escalade that will take FH, GM & his parents to the church then will come back for me, BM's & my parents. We are paying to have that one vehicle for 4 hrs. Then we are paying hourly for another Cadillac limo to take FH & I to the church. Also his parents may want a car to take back to his sister's after (they live in Florida) which would also be on the hourly schedule.

So if you only need the limo for a few ours then you can pay hourly for it.

Re: Limo Question

You pay for the limo by the hour usually. If you go to them w/ your time-line of ceremony, reception, etc.. they will help you figure out how much time you will need & the cost. I used Camelot & they were very helpful w/ this. We had one limo pick up DH & his family mom, dad, bro (BM) & drop them off at the church, then they came w/ the same limo to pick up Me, my mom & dad, and cousin (MOH). It worked b/c DH was coming from garden city & our church was in massapequa near where my parents live. Then after church a second limo came DH & I went in one limo to the RH, and everyone else went in the other one. Once we got to the RH the limos left. The bride & groom usually get a limo or town car home included in the package. We did. My parents got themselves a town car for the ride home as did DH's parents. It wasn't included in the price but was discounted.

eta: we did white Chrysler 300's
