Limo Question for gals getting hitched at their hall

Is anyone planning on using limos to get to your hall even if you are getting married there? I kinda feel like its a waste of money to use limos, but then I can't imagine everyone trying to get to the hall on time on their own.... I just don't know what to do as far as that is concerned....suggestions????

I'm in the same boat as you. I think it's such a waste of money and my mom shot back with, 'So you're going to go to the wedding in my minivan.' Um...yes?

I'm probably not going to do the limos...I'd rather put the money towards the honeymoon.

See I just kinda picture it as mass confusion and like it's my wedding, I can't imagine driving myself out to the wedding...also, I kinda want to spend more time in my dress and if I get the limo at least I can get dressed at home instead of at the hall... oh my what to do......

We are in the same boat. So we have decided to each have our trucks driven there (I will decorate them). Each person will ride in a truck or catch a ride with their date etc.

FH godfather just purchased an antique car. We may leave in that to the hotel.

My friend had the same situation (4years ago) and I had to ask her if she had limos.

I just don't want to spend if we don't have to because--- I did not remember whether or not she had limos and I served as her coordinator.

we arent doing limos ....i am staying at the hotel ( where we are getting married) the night before and steve is staying home and driving his car so we have some way to get home the next day

We are getting marrid at our RH and taking pics before the ceremony so we didnt want the BP's SOs to have to come and sit around all morning.

So, my mom decided she was paying for a limo from our house to RH..instead of taking 3 cars b/c the girls are getting ready at my house.

Then FH wanted one too for him and his guys.

We got a really great price though b/c its just pickup/dropoff. FM me if you want details.

We are having a limo drop-off for the guys and the girls...its actually not that expensive if you get a drop-off...I didn't want to drive my car to the wedding....we wanted limos so we just budgeted a couple hundred for the ride....since all the bridal party lives in queens it just made more sense that way...Me and FH will get a car to pick us up at the end of the night...

we debated for a while about it but we couldn't think about not having a nice ride to our wedding :)

The RH is about 30 secs from my parents' house. We're skipping the limo because nobody will see it anyway. My mom's car is good enough for me!

I am getting married at a hall. I will be getting ready w/ hair and makeup at my house and then my parents will drive me to the hall and I'll get into my gown in the bridal suite.

We are getting married at RH but wanted limos. Most limo companys were making us for 3 hours when we only need it for at most one hour. So we decided to go with the company my job uses...Trans Star Executive. They gave us a great deal. If you really want (or other family member think you should have) limos do some research. You might be able to find a good deal.
