Limo question for those who are having ceremony at hal
I am having my ceremony at my reception hall and I am not taking picture before (we are doing them dutring the cocktail hour). So I was thinking that I don't really need a limo. Maybe I could just have my parents drive me there and I will put my dress on when I arrive. I would love to save the money.
How are people doing this?
Thanks!

We are still taking a limo anyway. The hall is a hour away and the BP needs to get there somehow

We're also having the ceremony at the hall.
I am planning on having my sister and brother-in-law drive me, and FHs parents will drive him. We'll have to get his car there somehow for later. Somehow can't see spending $$$ on a limo, esp. since everything is pretty close for us.

Same situation as yours over here...
I just booked a limo to pick up FH and I at a hotel we're staying at the night of the wedding and then a drop off after the wedding... $300 + gratuity. jeeeeeeez

Since we have a very small bridal party I got a rolls royce to pick my MOH and me up at my parents. i wanted some pictures with the limo as soon as the ceromony is over so we just the the minimum time.

We're not using a limo either. We are taking pictures before, but at the site, so we thought why spend the extra money. It's not worth it. We have a small BP and it's all family. Everyone understands & agrees.
It adds up quickly doesn't it!!!

I was really torn about it too. But I figured I'm spending so much on other stupid things already, might as well spend another few hundred on a limo.

I got married at my hall - I didn't feel the need for a limo either. My sister drove me in her car.

We are getting limos only b/c we all want to arrive together...the guys are taking on limo and the girls and my parents are taking another limo. It was too bad...we've gotten quotes of $175 a piece for the 10 person limo. Worth it to arrive in style...JMO

We are having an excursion come pick up myself and the girls and another to pick up the guys. They will drop us off early to take pics. I know a lot of people think it is a waste of money but I did it not only for us but for our bridal party so we can all get there together and enjoy ourselves a little before all the pics start. I mean the bridal party ends up spending so much I think it is sort of something I could do for them. Well we also got a pretty good deal after calling around.

I am having a limo pick me, my parents, and the girls up to bring us there. I also got a limo to pick us up afterwards. I got booked for $300. I didn't think that was too much. Even though I too am looking to save money, I would rather arrive to my ceremony/reception with everyone and in style!

It certainly does add up! I plan on gettng dressed at the hall also, so I won't need a limo for before the ceremony. However, FH and I were thinking of getting one for after the reception to take us to the hotel. That way we can still take pictures with the limo.
edited to clarify

I got married at my hall and used limos, however we took pics before hand. Our limo company charged us at a drop off and pick price since we didn't need to the total wedding -3 hr package. It was fairly inexpensive.
