One of my coworkers is getting married this summer at Cresthollow. She asked me two questions about limos. 1.) She wants her parents and grandparents to ride to the wedding in a limo. Should she get a seperate limo for them or do they ride with the bridal party? 2.) How does the bridal party get home from the reception hall? To answer the first question I told her that she should do what she is comfortable with when it comes to her family riding in a limo. For her second question, I told her that the bridal party could bring their cars over to the hall the day before the wedding, they could arrange to ride home with someone else at the wedding, OR if the bridal party is staying at a hotel after the wedding and the hotel has a shuttle she could arrange for it to pick them up at the hall.
What do you ladies think? Any other suggestions?

Re: Limo questions
I agree with all of the above! Usually bridal party gets home by their date/husband/bf/fiance. That's how it's worked for us when FH and I have been in wedding parties.
I think I am going to do a separate 8 passenger limo for parents & grandparents for the night. I don't want them to have worry about getting home and such. HTH!

Re: Limo questions
I agree with you, I say whatever makes her comfortable. I was just in a wedding and the brides parents rode in the limo from the ceremony to the hall with us.
As a bridal party we got from the reception to the after party/hotel by the shuttle provided by the hotel. I liked this because I didn't have to be concerned with my car at all.

Re: Limo questions
We are getting a limo that fits the bridal party and the parents. FH is going to follow the groomsmen to the hall in the am and they are going to leave their cars there and then go back to FH house to get ready. My bridal attendants are meeting at the hotel and leaving their cars there.
At night we are getting a car to take our parents home. Most of the bridal party is staying at the hotel next door but if they want to head home they'll all have their cars there.

Re: Limo questions
I would get a different limo and let the bridal party have there own and to get home from the RH they normally have rides home it's just the bride and groom who get a ride to where ever they r going

Re: Limo questions
I plan on doing a party bus for the bridal party so I am doing a separate limo for parents and grandparents. I am hoping to book a hotel with a shuttle this way the bridal party can leave their cars at the hotel.

Re: Limo questions
Do most people get 1 limo to get the girls and the bride to the ceremony and then the limo goes and picks up the guys at a separate location or vice versa or 2 separate limos.

Re: Limo questions
We're going to get a separate limo for grandparents/parents. Bridal party will probably leave their cars at the hall & get home on their own or stay in hotel and get shuttle back. That seems like what most people do...

When I talked to a couple of places most people get 1 limo that goes and picks up the guys and drops them off at the church and then goes and picks up the girls
