limo review -- Cosmopolitan Coach
I thought you should know about this... I got married Saturday and the only issue we had was with the limo....
When I booked him in July it was for a 12 passenger white Lincoln stretch limo - a classic car. We confirmed with him the week before the wedding and there was no problem. When the limo showed up to my house on Saturday morning it was not the car we ordered at all. It was a white stretch Cadillac Escalade, with the muffler dangling a little. It was a monstrosity and not what we would have ever chosen for our wedding at all. Now, if that was the only problem it would have been slightly annoying, but alright. However, as soon as we opened the door to get in the vehicle it was dirty and outdated and just gross inside. The floor was nasty and we had to put a towel down on the seat so my gown wouldn't get messed up. Someone had to stand by the back door to prevent me from leaning against it because the inside door wasn't clean, and the wheel well was filthy - so much so that my brother who was leaning against it got grease on the back of his tux. The Escalade is so tall, I had issues getting in and out of the vehicle in the gown because of my shoes and immobility. The seats in that car are so high I couldn't even sit up because my head was touching the ceiling- - which was water stained. When we got in the car, the driver said, 'Man, my GPS is broken, where are we going?' He had no idea about the route or even a general idea of what catering hall we were going to. We got him there with directions. Not a huge deal, but on top of everything it was frustrating. He dropped us off and then he was supposed to get the groomsmen from a hotel 3 blocks away. Of course, no directions or address again and he wants me to give him directions. He eventually got to the guys and dropped them off.
My mother and my coordinator, Rosalie, talked to the driver before we even left the house on Saturday morning and he refused to call Frank I believe. My coordinator left a message for him, which has not been returned 2 days later. My dad left a message yesterday and that call hasn't been returned either.
The photographer wanted to take the traditional limo shots with the toast, but I refused to get back in the vehicle because it was dirty, so we wound up missing out on pictures too. I'm just really disappointed, because we all spent the whole ride there annoyed and giving directions and worrying about touching anything instead of anticipating the ceremony.
Just the principle of the matter. If there was a problem with the Lincoln on Saturday morning he should have called and said 'we don't have this car, but here are 2 choices' .
I just wanted to warn future brides out there of this...
other than that, my day was perfect :)
