Limo timing question

What time are you having the limo pick up your FH? How soon before the ceremony start time and how far is he from the ceremony site? What about for your pickup? I'm a little nervous about this part... I hate relying on other people to show up on time!!

Re: Limo timing question

our wedding ceremony starts at 11am. the limo is picking the guys up from the hotel at 9:45, dropping them off at the church at 10, and getting to me at 10:15. i want to leave the house at 10:40 at the absolute latest, even though the church is only a mile from my house, i am really anal about time!!!

Re: Limo timing question

our wedding was at 1pm.... the limo p/u Dh & the guys in Bethpage at 10:45 am. then they drove to Garden city to pick up our girls & my brother (my escort)...that was at 11:15. then it went straight to the church, where I was already waiting. (Mom & I went in my bridal limo). We were the 1st ceremony of the day, so it was OK for us to be early. We got to the church (in Ridgewood) at 12:35, and we took some pics while DH waited in the limo, then when we were done (at about 12:45)...Dh came into the church.

I have to say, though, my limo co told me I was picking up everyone too early, but it worked out perfectly. If I would have listened to them, we would not have started on time.

Re: Limo timing question

I am currently working out something with my limo...see we are planning to have ONE limo bring both parties from different locations to the reception/ceramony location so I have to space the time out to make it.
Figure we get 3 hours with the limo, so that's enough time to bring me and my party there, turn around and fetch FH with his party and bring them here too.
It sounds scary, but it can work fine in 3 hours! (i hope)

what are you guys doing...in similar situations...?

Re: Limo timing question

We are getting married at 2 p.m. in Brooklyn. The limo is going to pick up FI and GM at 12:30 from LI, drop them off at the church and go 4 blocks to pick up my BMs. So me and the BMs will get picked up at 1:45.

My Ceremony starts at 3:00. It generally takes 45 mins. to an hour to get from my FH house to mine. They are picking him up at 1:30 along with the GM.
