Limos

Are all limos $300 for 3 hours? I've called alot of places and that seems to be the price. Anyone know of better prices? Thanks.

Limos - yes, they are all the same - a rip off.

Limos here in Boston are available for 1 or 2 hours, and are less per hour. Everywhere we checked in NY-LI are all a 3 hour minimum and about $350+ tax and gratuity included. You don`t even get the choice to tip for good service or withhold if it`s lousy. It`s pre-written into the contract. We have a recommendation for a good car service. Kelly`s in Bayside has nice new Lincoln Town Cars in deep green and teal. They will take me and my Dad from the hotel in Great Neck to the Church in Bayside for $25.00 We asked about 2 cars for four people each to go the 4 miles from the church to Leonard`s of Great Neck for the reception - $38.00 each I figure that`s a grand savings of about $300 that we`ll be able to spend on food and fun on the honeymoon. It`s just not worth the big bucks for such a short ride between locations. Nicole, let me know if you want the phone number - I`ll get it for you.

What types of cars are you looking for? We checked out Royalty, Cruise Control and MV Limo but still haven`t booked because they are all in the same price range. I am leaning towards Cruise Control just because we got better service but I don`t know anyone who`s used them.

Jen, I'm looking for the basic 10 passenger Lincoln's I guess. Just the regular limo. I've called a million places and they're all the same. I'm calling more today. I'll let you know if I get anything better! Thanks!

I spoke to aquarius limo today and they were nice and their package went as follows: 1 white 6 pass 2 black 8 pass $800 inc. gratuity. The best so far. Everyone else charges 20% gratutity on top of that.

Hi- I just joined this conversation. A few weeks ago I did the same thing called a bunch of limo companies to find they were all basically the same prices give or take a few throw ins and such. I was stuck on two companies Cruise Control and Royalty just because I heard such nice things about them both. (same price plus runner, full bar, balloon lauch, ride home after reception) At the time I was researching there were several good stories posted on Royalty limos in Franklin Square. I also have friends who used them so my fiance and I checked them out. They have tons of cars and the service was friendly and helpful so we booked. Hope this helps you make your decision.

Also am just joining in. Looked at Cruise Control and All Star. I took All Star because my neighbor just used them and all went well, but it was a toss up.

Cruise Control Limousines

a few people out there were asking about Cruise Control Limousines. My sister used them last year and I am using them in September. The owners Tony and Margaret are great people to deal with. My sister had their Rolls Royce and it was beautiful and the driver was professional and made us all laugh. I definately recommend them

Jen, I am in the limousine business. i am not trying to solicit you. After reading some post's here I would just like to say dont just go by PRICE... (1)Check out the company with dept of consumer affair's. (2)Repudable co's provide a service not just car's.This is a BIG differance.You should be paying for the service which varies greatly.Cheap cars usually mean cheap service.You want a driver to cater to you,which you deserve. A driver to coordinatethe chaos at church, get the church runner pulled correctly,get the bridal party down the aisle looking proper and most of all when those door's open & everyone look's at the beautiful bride she is Fluffed on someone's arm and ready to go!Trust me it's more than $$$$$. Remember no second chance to do it right
