Limos....

Does anyone know anything good or bad about Alexis Limos? We were quoted $580.00 for 3 hours from the caterers to NYC, for an Excalibur.

Check the Better Business Bureau website for starters to see if there are any complaints

Do you mean Alexa Rae limos?

If you do they used to be Alladin Limo's and I wouldn't go near them. Many brides had major problems with them and they were even on Channel 5 problem solvers.

They are the same company and they are shady and many many brides have had problems with them. They are on sunrise hwy in massapequa/seaford.
I would stay away, they also ruined many local proms.

Alexis Limos

susanlynn I know exactly which one your are speaking of and it is NOT Alexa Rae. Alexis Limos is one of the house vendors for Chateau Briand.
It seems a little pricey for 3 hours. At one of the Bridal Shows at the Huntington Hilton there was this limo co. can't remember who but they were pretty reasonable. Was the 3 hrs for a regular limo or for an excalibur or a jeep?

Sorry about that susanlynn. I just read your message and I realized I missread everything you said! Can you tell my morning is going well!??!
Actually that rate is pretty good... I haven't heard anything about them though.

BTW have you gone to the Seminar yet? I had to reschedule yesterday. Is it worth going?

Alexis limos is owned by the Scott Bros.

I was going to use them myself but no one on this board knows anything about them. I would have to think that the Scotto Bros. would take care of the brides. They have a reputation to protect. Even more so if you are one of their brides.
I ended up going with ultimate class... I heard good things form the boards and got a good price. Got a good feeling and they were very professional. I'm just going with reg. limos, no specialty cars. If they do what they say they do my day will be perfect! If you check them out you can tell them Debbie their Sept 27th bride sent you.
Good luck!

It is $580.00 for 3 hours is that too much? We are going from Chateau Briand to my home in bellmore and then to NYC.

I thought the seminar was a waste of time, except you get a big binder that is like a organizer and it does look helpful. And eat before you go, there was veggies and dip, cheese and crackers, fruit, and drinks. Let me know what yoou think of it.

I completely disagree with you. The Perfect Wedding Planner Seminar was beyond informative. They gave great recommendations on everything you need to know about planning your wedding. Also, vendors such as bands, photographers, etc. were present to talk to everybody about their services. The event coordinators told us what to look for when shopping each type of vendor (price, quality, etc.) Try looking in the binder, and you will find just how useful it is. It was such a fun evening, I am so glad I went.

Wow, I hopeI did not offend you. I guess because I have been involved in a lot of planning of weddings it seemed like a rerun to me. I am sorry if I insulted you. It was a liitle informative.
