Over the weekend i went to a limo company and they added all these different fees... being that this is the first company we saw, i was wonderign if a 20% service fee is normal? He said it was for the drivers and for ware and tare. I saw flyers with price lists for other companies that i got from bridal expos, but i never saw anything about a service fee...Just curious if this is normal..
He made it obvious that it is NOT a gratuity

i have heard of that,,,my friend used a company that had all these extra fees inclduing gas fees. i used red carpet limo & they gave me a set price and included gratitiy and no other fees.& it was the cheaperst quote i rcvd.
we used them for bachelor/ both parties and my sis used them for prom & they were great...& i am sure they will be great again on friday....

The gas fee is if the price of gas goes over a certain amount from the time you book to the time you use them. It happened to my sister a few years ago when she went to her prom. Gas went over $2 a gallon (my gosh, remember that price?) so she had to pay extra.

yeah, they also charged a gas fee in addition to the service fee.. .. all these extra fees started to make me think that they are just money hungry.. But then again, it was the first limo comp we saw so these charges could be normal. Just wanted others opinions

I've heard of a gas fee, but 20% seems a little crazy..check out Joe from Camelot Limo...the service is fantastic, and the prices are really reasonable- he's a vendor on LIW
