Limos

What are you guys doing on this, like how many and who is going in what.

I am copletely lost - I don't know how many to get and what to do about getting people back and forth

We're getting married at the RH so we will not be using them. One way to keep us on budget. Having family and friends bring us.

I am having one for fh and I...and then I am going to get one for the bridal party (we have 13 people) and another one for the parents and grandparents...so 3 in total

we're getting an SUV limo for the whole bridal party. our parents are goin to drive themselves from church to the reception

Same with me, except I might spend the night before at the hotel next door to the RH, so then I won't have to worry about anything. There will be plenty of people with FH and the boys for them to get to the RH

this is what i did. I booked a rolls royce and a party bus. The day of I had the party bus pick up Dh and the guys and anybody else from his house at 1:30pm(the guys had to be at the church earlier) then after the party bus headed to my house to pick up the girls, the bus arrived at 2pm at my house. At the same time the rolls royce picked me up to go with my parents to the church. Ceremony started at 2:30pm.

Then after ceremony Dh and I wanted to be with our bp so we went on the party bus with them, and parents in the Rolls Royce. However others complained that the rolls royce wouldn't be enough for both parents and i hired a 3rd limo the week of my wedding. It was a waste of money bc there was room in the Rolls for both sets of parents, and one set of parents were alone in the ROlls while the other set of parents were in the Limo all alone. I knew this would happen but nobody listened to me.

we are not getting a separate one for ourselves. we want to be with the rest of the bridal party.

i have a bentley for me and my parents and a cadillac dts limo for the bridesmaids and FMIL.

At first FH said he was going to rent a hummer or navigator for him and his guys but we had a talk, and I really don't want him driving on our wedding day so we're going to be adding on another limo for him and his guys and then have a car to pick us up at the end of the night.

eta:
everyone is responsible for their own transportation home, but my mom plans to get her own limo to pick her and my other family up at the end of the night.

I'm getting a rolls royce to take my parents and me to the church. I'll also get a large 20-22 person limo for the bridal party...guys will get picked up first and dropped off at church...then girls picked up. I wasnt planning on providing a limo for FH's parents. They arent contributing to the wedding in any way, so dont want to add another cost to the list.

we're getting a 24 passenger limo bus for the bridal party and FH to be brought to the hall in and a small stretch for me and my parents.

we're getting married at the RH and originially werent getting limos but since we have to be there 2 hours early for pics i figured we should provide teh transportation for everyone.
everyone is responsible for their own rides home

We booked the new bentley for FH & I. And a classic lincoln stretch for the bridal party (this is a place I cut costs big time!!!) So both limos will come to my house to get my dad and I and the girls. My mother will drive to church on her own.

The only thing is...I was thinking about adding on an extra hour for the stretch limo to get FH at the hotel.

I def want a Rolls Royce for me and my parents to go to the church... then to take me and FH after we are married to the RH.

Then I am either going to have:

2 limos, one to pick up the girls from my house and guys from his house

Or, now that i see other people have done this:
Party bus/really big limo to pick the guys up from his house and then come to my house to pick up the girls

Again, i will have to see what costs less when i sit down w/ vendors.

II'm getting married at the RH and staying at the hotel near the RH too.

i will be getting on big party bus that will pick fh and the guys up bring them to chruch and then come to my house and get the bm, and i will have an old fashion one to bring me and my dad to hruch and then after chruch we will all go in the party bus to hall.

still up in the air...i want the rolls to pick up my parents and I to take us to the church. Then FH and I have to discuss how we want to get to the RH if we want to be alone or be with the BP. Depending on the answer to that will decide what type of limo i get for the bp...really want some type of suv limo though...
