limos...

limos...

I def asked this a while ago ,but I need help....

We aren't sure about using limos at all. We found a good price and if we did use limos we would be using this vendor, but...

If we had a limo it would pick up the groomsmen at our apartment in bethpage, drive them over to hotel in plainview area, and pick up girls, drive us all over to the RH. in Syosset This would cost us like 800.00.

Great price, but some people r telling us to save the money and spend it elsewhere... by cutting the limo all together.

What do peopel honestly think...

If i was in the bridal party id be annoyed that i need to drive myself or get a ride, but I'd understand that it saves the couple money...

im torn....what should we do? Honest answers please, i value the opinions of you girls!!

I think you should definitely get the limos. It will add to the 'special-ness' of the day. And it's a great price...Can you tell me what vendor?

I say get the limos, because i have to agree with your point that if i was in the BP i would be annoyed too

Were not doing limos, but me and the BM's are getting ready at the hotel next door to the RH, and the guys they don't care about how they get there

I think i'm If i were in the bp i might wonder why there weren't any limo's but i really wouldn't think THAT much of it.

My piece of mind for getting the limo's would be knowing that everyone was in the same place arriving at the same time so we don't have to wait for people to take pics. Or worry about those few people wandering off and stopping somewhere in between.

Re: limos...

my mom and I had such a big arguement about this the other day...bec she wants us to save the money too...but honestly i wanted everyone to have rides and not worry about getting to and from the church and the place...i know the bridal party will have dates to get them back home (that was something not in the budget).

For FH and I , it was important to us to have the girls meet at one place and same with the guys and then have the limos taking everyone back and forth....

that is just us though....

we spent a little more than orginally quoted bec we really wanted our parents to have rides as well...i didnt want them worrying and going back and forth and what not...

HTH...

Good luck!

What hotel are you getting ready at? Do they offer a shuttle to NRC? If they do, then I wouldn't worry about limos. But if they don't, then I'd go ahead with the limos. I know I'd also probably be pretty annoyed if I were a BM and didn't have any transportation.

I am not sure yet, all the ones im looking at are around 10-15 mins away...no far at all. I feel like the shuttle is for the guests. A lot of hotels only give you a two hour block for shuttle each way and that would take away from guests getting to hotel...if any actually get rooms, we dont have many oot family/friends. Idk...actually maybe they will make an exception for the BP...ill ask

I would def. get the limos, your bridal party is the people that are closest to you, and the limos are another thing that sets them apart from the rest of the guests. One of the best parts of being a BM is the limo ride with everyone - it's always a blast! JMO...

If it was in my budget I would go with the limo b/c I think it add a special feel to the day...if I could not afford it I would forget it the BP will get over it and it is not a must have.

It seems like I should do it...lol... I feel bad not doing it and then knowing im going to be in almost everyone of my bm's weddings and they will prob pay for a limo for me...

i think we are just gonna do it...now i really gotta save up for that deposit

I think that you should def get the limos; I feel like that's something you expect when you're in the BP.
