I have been calling around to get prices for limos, and they all told me that I should book early. They said most people book up to a year in advance. My wedding is Memorial Day Weekend, but it seems to early to book now. But then i think that if they suggest it, maybe I should book soon. What does everyone else think? Does anyone have their limos already booked?

I don't have them yet. But I used to work for a limo company and people book these early. But I also knew people would wait until 3 weeks before. It is probably better to book earlier if you want a specialty car, since they are limited. With standard 8-10 passengers though I think a few months would suffice, IMO.

I am getting married next Sept. and I have my Limos booked since last April. If you book them now, you will get the prices of 2003 instead of 2004 (in case they go up).

We booked our limos in November for our May 2004 wedding. I agree with Lisa, you should try to go as soon as you can so you can get a lower price. We booked with Coachman. If you FM them or Post on the vendor board, they will give you a quote.

I think you should try and book now the later you book the more the prices go up!
On a related limo question. My wedding/reception are at the same place which is less than a mile from my childhood home do you think I need a limo? Right now I'm not going with one but I wanted to hear what you ladies thought.
Plus I won a free limo ride at the last GTG that will take me to the hotel so I don't really feel like I need to pay for one.
(I'm sorry if I'm being to cheap) LOL

We ran into the same situation. We are getting married at the reception location. I got a pickup/drop off price. We wanted a vintage rolls for some pictures. We were trying to find someone who had a vintage car but a '76 duster wasn't going to cut it.

May is a popular month with weddings, proms and such. I would probably start researching companies during the summer and book in the fall.
