limos

ok girls - I have a question... limos and flowers are next on our list. i might tackle limos first...we have a big wedding party (15 total... 17 including us) we were looking into a party bus. and then maybe doing a pickup/drop off for the guys or something if needed... anyhoo - we want to be with our wedding party after the ceremony and not get a car for ourselves. we ahve decided that already.

I am wondering though, if I will regret not getting a regular limo or something similar. the champagne toast after hte church will be in front of a big bus? not sure if i will regret that..

anyone have any input/suggestions here?

I had a large bridal party and did the bus too.

I had the bus pick up the guys at the hotel were they got ready. I had a regular limo pick up me my parents and grandmother and an SUV Limo pick up the girls.

Once we got to church the SUV limo left and my parents used the regular limo and we went with our Bridal Party.

I do not regret it at all. I thought I might to, but honestly we had so much fun in the bus. We didn't do the toast outside church either -- and to be honest I never thought twice about it.

My brother got married at CML and he had both- He had a limo just to take picture for the chamapane toast and then we all partied in the bus to CLM

it nicer for picture but if you don't have the budget- it not needed.
I mean having a limo for an hour really cant cost that much can it?

Limos ususally come on a three hour minimum.

i was looking into the SUV's and have been in one (22-24 pass i think) with a bridal party with about 17-18 ppl in it - and it was TIGHT!

i might just ask if they can do a pickup for me/bridal party and my parents and wait at the church so we can take pics. or even if i get some pics at my parents house with it, adn they jstu do a pickup drop off.

i realized though too that FH will have his racing trucks there at the church and the fire truck, so maybe we cna do a taost in front of that, since that's his life. i dunno, I just don't want to regret it after the fact that I didn't get a regular limo.

Using a party bus.. but we will book transportation with the same company for the groom and his party to get there.. So I am going to see if I can work it out that the limo stays till after the ceremony so I can take some pics in front of it.. if not, no biggie

I was thinking about getting a rolls for my parents and me to go to the church in, a party bus for the wedding party ( and groom to the church) and a regular limo for my gma, his parents, and grand parents. Than after the ceremony him and I would take the rolls to where we are taking pics. and than after pics just join the party bus! My parents would go in the regular limo after the ceremony.

Just as the photog was about to take a pic LOL

So all of us go 'OHHHH SNAP' and start pointing LOL There is a pic w/ some of us having the 'OHH SNAP' face on and pointing lol

Haha thats what my BP is gonna look like!! I have 18, FH and I make 20, plus 2 flower girls and 2 ring bearers.

Thats 24 total!!

i have a large bridal party as well and when you include us - well - !
we're going ot be getting a large SUV - either the Escalade or the Excursion.
We'll be able to fit comfortably in there wil 18 people.
