Limos

Limos

Hey ladies.

So I've booked most of my major vendors for my wedding and I'm up to booking limos. My parents don't think it's smart for me to book limos yet since lots of limo companies go out of business at the drop of a hat.

Thoughts? I have a huge BP so I will probably need a party bus, and I just don't want to be closed out of every party bus on Long Island!

TIA Any recommendations would be awesome!

I'm with your mom on that concern, but I feel extremely confident in Camelot. He can sustain his business on LIW girls alone. LOL!

And he's got a brand spanking new 2010 party bus!

Ditto.

Joe's not going anywhere. And I used him once for something else in 2006 and the whole experience was amazing. He even sent an upgrade as a surprise for no charge. I'm not even planning on shopping anywhere else and you won't find anything bad about Camelot on here no matter how hard you try.

As long as you stick with one of the established companies, you should not have a problem. Many have been around for decades.

I was actually wondering about limos myself...

For those of you who are renting a limo.. I'm assuming you're only renting it for like 3 hours, for them to pick you up at home to take you to your ceremony then to the reception, yes?

If that's the case, how are you guys going to get home? I know some people rely on family and friends, but it that's not available, do you just rent a second limo for the end of the night as well?

I'm not 100% sure cause my appt is in an hour lol..

but what I'd like to do is get the limo and bus for a few hours for church and pics, etc... and then rent out a coach bus or shuttle to take us and everyone else who needs a ride from the RH to whatever hotel we pick

My friend upstate did this for her wedding and it was great because no one worried baout driving drunk. and about 35 people used it.. If someones not staying in the hotel then hopefully their date will bring a car to take them home, or you can have the shuttle do an additional stop

Most companies provide a car to take the bride and groom home in at the end of the night at no additional charge (I know Camelot does!). But WP/parents are on their own. That's why we're renting coach buses.
